SECOND UPC USER FORUM: Questions & Answers

A year ago, the Munich IP Dispute Resolution Forum held the first UPC User Forum. The idea was to establish a new format for an exchange of experiences and best practices between the UPC judges and UPC users. In that tradition, the Munich IPDR Forum is now offering a workshop and get-together at the DPMA Forum on 12 September 2024, reunifying UPC judges and users allowing for an open exchange under “Chatham House Rules”.

REgister here!

Following the first UPC decisions on the merits, we will cover questions on material and procedural law. We are glad, that Dr. Matthias Zigann, Tobias Pichlmaier, Edger Brinkman, Margot Kokke, András Cupecz, Anders Hansson and Christoph Schober confirmed their participation. The workshop will start with a light lunch at noon, followed by two panel sessions of two hours each. The event will close with a reception around 6 pm.

To ensure a structured and informative discussion, we kindly request that you submit your questions in advance. This will allow our panelists to prepare and provide comprehensive answers tailored to your inquiries. Please direct your questions, categorized under one of the following topics, to info@ipdr-forum.org.

  1. Material Law
    – UPC Patent Law
